And we are finally enjoying spring in Minnesota!
This is Mr. Mallard (Drake if you are on a first name basis). He and the Missus nest in or near our yard every year. We haven’t seen her yet, so she must already be nesting. Last year this couple left an egg in M’s sandbox! :)
And M has been hard at work trying to master jump-roping. :)
I hope you are all having a wonderful spring!
Have a beautiful day! :)
Oh, I didn't know you lived in MN! My sister used to live there. It was beautiful in spring when I went to visit!
ReplyDeleteLove the shots of M walking down the road! How cool to have a duck couple nest in your yatd
ReplyDeleteYay, spring. It looks lovely there right now! Love the ducks. We have a cardinal couple that comes to eat here most days. The male flies right in my face to announce that he is ready for breakfast. Then he goes to get the female and he feeds her seed by seed. It is the sweetest thing I've seen! Sam loves it too, and tries to keep our small feeder full for them.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful Spring weather you have been having!!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures mirror our afternoon. We went for a lovely nature walk this arvo and later on Savvy used a torn sheet (of all things) to show me that she "did one skip" (I really need to buy her a skipping rope).
ReplyDeletePrecious times with M enjoying that glorious weather and scenery.
I was excitied to see the sequencing cards on your blog - I have just printed them. Thank you for sharing these.
It's always a delight to stop by here.
